ALESSANDRO GIAMPAOLI

Italian multidisciplinary artist whose work navigates a mystical-symbolic journey through the realms of nature and human consciousness. Rooted in drawing and painting, his artistic path began with formal training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino and further specialization at the European Institute of Design in Milan.

Giampaoli’s practice later evolved to embrace photography, video, and installation—mediums through which he constructs immersive, often dialogic experiences. His work revitalizes classical figurative traditions through the distilled representation of symbols and archetypes, forming a multicultural and inclusive visual language. Nature is a constant and living presence in his oeuvre: fluid, enveloping, and sacred. His recurring themes explore the disharmony between humanity and the natural world, drawing inspiration from mythology, literature, and spiritual inquiry.

In recent years, Giampaoli has returned to drawing and painting as the core of his research, while maintaining the narrative complexity of his earlier multimedia works.
